Cubs

Cub Scouts, for girls and boys aged 8 to 10 years old, have lots of fun and adventure.
Some of the great things that Cub Scouts can do are:
Learn camping skills, including map and compass, first aid, sleeping in tents in the bush, cook on an open fire and lots of other camp activities.
Our cubs play lots of different games, go on a weekend camps and make new friends

One of the best things about Cub Scouts is that they can learn a lot of useful things and earn badges to wear on their uniforms. Some of the badges that Cub Scouts can earn are Codes and Signalling, Electronics, Sports, Fishing, Boating, Masks, Space, Writing and more.

There is a Cub Scout Pack meeting once a week on Monday at 7.00pm to 8.30pm at 1st Strathmore Scout Hall, Lebanon St, Strathmore

Parent Helpers???  What’s this??

Dear Parents

This year we are asking parents to come along to Cub nights to help leaders with the general running of the program, and to experience first hand what your child is doing in Cubs.

We have rostered on one family per week. If you cannot make the week you are rostered on, it is your responsibility to contact another family on the roster and swap weeks with them.

You will be given an outline of your specific jobs for that week. This may vary week to week, but in general you will be involved in:

We know you will enjoy experiencing a Cub night with your child!

We look forward to seeing you there.

Regards

Neil, Nina & Quentin
